About the Trip
From the banks of the Green River in historic Browns Park — home to the famous outlaws Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid — you’ll catch your first glimpse of Lodore Canyon. This 44-mile stretch is some of the finest whitewater rafting in Colorado.
A couple of lazy miles let you settle into the rhythm of the river before the canyon walls close in and the action begins. World-class rapids like Disaster Falls and Hell’s Half Mile will thrill to no end. Between the excitement, the Green River is a sanctuary to Colorado’s most spectacular wildlife — Big Horn sheep, Mule Deer, eagles, and more.
The river carries deep history too. Explorer John Wesley Powell first documented it in 1869, braving Class III–IV rapids in wooden boats. Our modern equipment and expert guides make your journey comfortable, safe, and utterly unforgettable.
