Are your guides medically certified?

Our guide staff is highly experienced and have obtained the necessary certifications and training’s to guide river rafting trips in a wilderness setting. Many of our guides have medical training in wilderness first aid, Swift water rescue and CPR. All of our guides carry at least basic first aid and CPR certifications and are licensed with the State of Utah.

Does anyone ever get injured on your expeditions?

River trips take place in rugged and wild terrain because of the nature of these environments there are inherent risks. We take all precautions to mitigate the chance of injury but there is real risk involved. By signing the acknowledgment/release form you are representing that you are accepting of this risk. In case of a medical emergency or evacuation it is your responsibility to carry insurance, or be prepared to cover the cost yourself for expenses related to emergency evacuations for medical or other reasons.

Does Dinosaur River Expeditions provide life jackets and helmets?

All of our trips provide you with the necessary safety equipment such as life jackets and helmets where applicable. Each of our trips carries a full stocked first aid kit, river rescue equipment, a plan for initiating an evacuation and boat repair kits.
